Pros.
I love the facts that my X50 is so efficient in collecting dust (tested overall collecting dust most of the time above 95%, I know this as I have Dyson V12 detect that can show the dust on the floors) and the dock is easy to clean unlike other brands. Up till now, I can say the rollers never got any hairs or furs tangling. Its rollers detangling works 100% full proof which means less hassle to clean the robot. Object avoidance is superb! So far, the dust box and dust bag compression work. Never had to change my dust bag so frequently (Note: I scheduled my X50 to run 3X a day at a minimum). Very rarely had an issue of robot stuck somewhere in a room. Twice, it was stuck due to an unrecognized blockage but after instructing it in the app to go back to the dock, it managed to bypass the hurdle. After few months running it, my X50 only got stuck twice only, although this can be solved manually through the app without me having to manually move it myself at home unlike my previous robot previously. I would say, it is very reliable so far. The coolest part, my X50 managed to climb my wet kitchen threshold of 6cm with breeze. Intentional and functional wise, it works greatly as compared to my other robot besides having so many other features.

Cons:
X50 Battery drain so quickly. I think there is an issue with the software algorithm or the battery itself may have an issue. Although, this can be fixed by the app, where every time the battery goes less than 20%, it will go back to the dock to charge and it will resume its cleaning task once it has enough power to finish the job. However, this affected the cleaning process where it will take longer to complete the whole task. I guess this won't impact you, if your cleaning area is not as big as mine.

Secondly, sometimes the X50 does this weird thing of not cleaning some areas as you have scheduled. Some days they do it perfectly, sometimes it will just skip those area even though there is no blockage in that area. Luckily, I can monitor my X50 remotely through the app. This issue can be solved manually by instructing the robot to clean again those area that it skipped via the app.

I hope Dreame can come up with a firmware update soon to fix these issues.

Anyhow, thumbs up to Dreame for coming up with workable robovac as intended by real users. Now, I have a piece of mind knowing that i have robovac that I can depend on. Kudos to Dreame!
